Environmental Links - British Columbia British Columbia Environmental Appeal Board Website The British Columbia Environmental Appeal Board was established in 1981 under the Environment Management Act. It is an independent agency which hears appeals from administrative decisions related to environmental issues. The Environmental Appeal Board plays a role in ensuring the protection of the environment by providing a final quasi-judicial access point for public and industry to appeal environmental administrative decisions.
