Since January 2011, The Canadian Propane Association is the new and improved national association of the Canadian Propane Industry.

Early in 2010, the Board of Directors of the Propane Gas Association of Canada and the Ontario Propane Association agreed to enter into a strategic review to identify the best strategies to meet the industry’s current and future challenges. A working group, comprising Board of Directors members of each association, was tasked with developing a strategic plan to best serve the industry’s future needs and the Canadian Propane Association was born.
